Free, Reconditioned Bikes for TERRIFIC Kids Who Do Good Deeds

Rockville has outstanding kids, and every T-E-R-R-I-F-I-C kid needs a bike.

How do you prove you’re TERRIFIC? Show us you’re Trustworthy, Earnest, Respectful, Responsible, Involved, Fair, Industrious and Caring!

The TERRIFIC challenge gives free bikes to Rockville residents in grades 1-5 who fulfill six good deeds, such as volunteering with a charity, picking up litter in a public place or helping someone who is sick or elderly.

Registration is open. Due to to the limited number of bicycles, participants must preregister for the free program by Friday, Feb. 14.

Selected participants will be emailed information by Friday, March 1 detailing how to track and submit their good deeds.
