Facility to Close for Improvements

The F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre will be closed from July 24-Sept. 6 for roof beam reinforcement and installation of a new motorized light bar, so stock up on upcoming shows and performances to get you over the summer lull.

Rockville Little Theatre: “Book of Days”
Fridays and Saturdays, May 5, 6, 12 and 13 at 8 p.m.; Sundays, May 7 and 14 at 2 p.m. Tickets: Adults, $22; students and seniors (62-plus), $20.

Rockville Chorus Classical Spring Concert
Sunday, May 21, 7:30 p.m. Free, although a $5 donation is suggested. Enjoy refreshments with the chorus in the lobby after the show.

Washington Balalaika Society: “Parade of Favorites”
Concert pieces brought to life by the dazzling voice of Olga Orlovskaya. Saturday, June 3 at 8 p.m. Tickets: Adults, $25; seniors, $20; students, $15. Children 12 and under are free.

Victorian Lyric Opera Company: “The Mikado” by Gilbert & Sullivan
Fridays and Saturday, June 9, 10, 16 and 17 at 8 p.m.; Sundays, June 11 and 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets: Adults, $28; seniors, $24; students, $20.

Bethesda Conservatory of Dance: “ICONIC”
Saturday, June 17 at 1:30 p.m. Tickets: Adults, $16; child/student/senior, $13.50.

The Rockville Brass Band and Brass of the Potomac: “Brass Around the World”
Saturday, June 24 at 7 p.m. Tickets: $10.

Rockville Musical Theatre: “Spamalot”
July 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22 at 8 p.m. July 16 and 23 at 2 p.m. Tickets: $22; students and seniors (62-plus), $20.
