Getting to Know You

The Mayor and Council and members of the city’s senior staff showcased the City of Rockville for county elected officials during a meet-and-greet, Jan. 21 at Glenview Mansion. The event, which sought to foster collaboration between the city and Montgomery County, highlighted areas of mutual interest to the city and county. That includes land use and transportation, the environment, Vision Zero, housing, and economic development.

The event included networking and exhibits from the city’s departments of public works; recreation and parks; police; community planning; and housing and community development; as well as from the city’s new Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Division; Rockville Economic Development, Inc.; and Rockville Housing Enterprises.
