Gun Buyback Brings Out Community Partners

Rockville police Chief Victor V. Brito (center), flanked by Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Monifa B. McKnight and Montgomery County State’s Attorney John McCarthy, announced Rockville’s gun buyback event last month. The Saturday, Aug. 27 event provided an opportunity to dispose of unwanted firearms voluntarily, anonymously and safely.
