Hawkins Honored

Community leader Fran Hawkins (right) was honored by Rockville’s Mayor and Council last month with a certificate of recognition for her decades of service to the Lincoln Park community. Mayor Bridget Donnell Newton, left, made the presentation. Hawkins has been a tireless advocate and volunteer for the community, and has served on the Lincoln Park Civic Association for 17 years, 15 as president.
