Hellen Keller, Opera and Improv,
This Month at the F. Scott Theater

Glimpse into the relationship between a young Hellen Keller and her teacher and friend, Annie Sullivan, as Rockville Little Theater presents “The Miracle Worker,” at 8 p.m., Feb. 3, 4, 10 and 11, and at 2 p.m. on Feb. 5 and 12, at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre. Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for students and seniors 62 and older.

Wine and Improv is back at the Glenview Mansion cottage on Thursday, Feb. 16. Theater professional Stephanie Phelan leads an improv workshop at 7 p.m. No experience necessary. Tickets are $35 for individuals, $60 for couples, and include a glass of wine, but you must be 21 or older and bring an ID. Don’t miss this “Bethesda Magazine” pick for “Best Date Night Activities.”

“The Tamburitzans Live!” fill the theater with an Eastern European flair, at 2 and 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19. Tickets are $35-38 for adults, $30-33 for seniors.

The Victorian Lyric Opera Company presents Jacques Offenbach’s “La Perichole” in English, at 8 p.m., Feb. 23-25 and March 3-4, and at 2 p.m., Feb. 26 and March 5. Tickets are $28 for adults, $24 for seniors, and $20 for students.

Tickets go on sale this month for Rockville Civic Ballet productions of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Macbeth” in March. Performances are 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 18, and 2 p.m., Sunday, March 19, respectively. Tickets are $17 for adults, $13 for children (12 and under), and $13 for seniors 60 and older. Group rates are $16.50 for seven or more adult tickets and $12.50 for 10 or more children or senior tickets.
