The City of Rockville is embarking on a process to develop its first Climate Action Plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare the community to adapt to a changing climate.
Share your vision for the plan by taking a survey at www.rockvillemd.gov/climate. While you’re there, find details about the city’s Climate Action Plan online open house from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17. City staff will present the plan’s background and initial policy areas for input, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer ideas.
The Mayor and Council discussed the climate action planning process during a Sept. 21 work session. Find video of the discussion and more information at www.rockvillemd.gov/AgendaCenter.
