Improved Website is on the Way!

The City of Rockville will launch an upgraded website in mid-July that will make it easier to navigate, find information and use on any device, whether it’s your computer, tablet or smartphone.

The upgrade follows extensive feedback and testing by users. Following the launch, planned for Monday, July 16, the city will hold further user testing and focus groups with the public to make even more improvements to the site.

Users will notice changes to how the website is organized. Most notably, pages for accessing city services have been located under a “Services” tab in the main navigation bar at the top of each page. The upgraded website will also offer a cleaner look and feel, with simpler language.

The improved website is a key part of the Mayor and Council’s priority initiative to better engage and inform the community, be more transparent, and to reach out more effectively to Rockville’s diverse population.

Visit www.rockvillemd.gov on July 16 to see the upgraded site.
