Improvements Ongoing at Rockville Senior Center

Interior renovations begin this fall at the Rockville Senior Center, to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

These include renovations to the front foyer and restrooms; installing a wheelchair lift to the Carnation Room stage; and a new breakfast serving counter.

A parking lot repaving project originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 8 has been canceled due to a forecast for rain and will be rescheduled for a later date. The center will be open Sept. 8 for regular hours (center: 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.; fitness room: 7 a.m.-4 p.m.).
