In-Person Outdoor Camps, Beginning in July, Now Registering

Registration is now open for Park Adventures, Rockville’s in-person camps outdoors, where kids will be able to enjoy sports, games, crafts and nature activities.

Sessions will run 9 a.m.-noon for two weeks, with new sessions each week from July 13-Aug. 3.

Under state guidelines to minimize infections from COVID-19, outdoor camps are recommended and only Maryland residents are permitted to register. Spaces will be limited, and total camp numbers have been reduced to allow for proper physical distancing and mandated group sizes.

Safety measures in place for the camps include curbside drop-off, health screenings and temperature checks for campers and staff, requiring face coverings where physical distancing cannot be observed, and small groups that stay together throughout the sessions.
