Inspection Services Asks Customers to Weigh in on Performance

The City of Rockville’s Inspection Services Division wants to know how well it is serving its customers, and is asking them to share those experiences by taking a short survey.

The ISD regulates state-mandated building codes and ordinances by issuing permits and contractor licenses, reviewing plans and inspecting all phases of residential and commercial construction, to ensure buildings and structures under construction are safe, code-compliant and in conformance with approved plans.

Improving customer service has been a primary focus for ISD Chief of Inspection Services Rabbiah Sabbakhan since he signed up with Rockville to lead the division last year. Obtaining customer feedback is a critical part of evaluating overall performance.

The survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/r/ISDsurvey2018, where customers are asked to answer questions about their experiences with permitting, plan review and inspections. Visit www.rockvillemd.gov/inspectionservices to learn more about the Inspection Services Division.
