Learn to be a Teen Volunteer with the City of Rockville

Lincoln Park Community Center, 357 Frederick Ave., will host a two-night training for teens age 13-16 to teach them how to be a successful volunteer with City of Rockville recreation programs.

“VolunTeen — City of Rockville’s Teen Leadership Experience,” will focus on leadership and communication, with active workshops and skill-building activities designed to prepare teens to volunteer and/or work in a recreational setting.

The program will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 and Thursday, Sept. 13. Register with course #7103 at www.rockvillemd.gov/registration. The course costs $85 for residents and $100 for nonresidents. Food is provided both nights of the program.
