Like Bikes? See the City by Pedal Power

Explore the city by bike with friends in July.

The Rockville Bicycle Advisory Committee leads casual neighborhood rides of about one hour on Tuesdays throughout the summer. Routes are on paved, shared-use paths, some sidewalks and some short sections of quiet streets.

The group rides at the pace of the slowest rider, so no one gets left behind. Rain at the start cancels the ride; wet pavement does not. Rides meet in the parking lot of Westat, 1600 Research Boulevard, at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.

The Rockville Bicycle Advisory Committee meets virtually to discuss bicycling issues in Rockville on the first Wednesday of each month. For agendas, visit www.rockvillemd.gov/AgendaCenter.
