Listening Session Will Solicit Community’s Thoughts on Development Review

Rockville’s Community Planning and Development Services department will be all ears at a listening session, 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesday, Nov. 15.

CPDS is hoping to hear from stakeholders and residents, such as landowners, developers, architects, land-use attorneys, civil engineers, citizens and others who have been through the development review process in recent years. The session is an opportunity to talk about what does and doesn’t work in the city’s review process, and how we can do better.

What staff learns from the listening session will help improve the development review process by making it more efficient, timely and transparent.

The listening session will be held in the social hall of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, 603 Edmonston Drive. The session is open to the public; anyone may attend. Sign up for project updates. For more information, contact Planning Supervisor Bobby Ray at 240-314-8228 or email [email protected].
