The Maryland Women’s Business Center, a program of Rockville Economic Development, Inc., helps people in our community start and grow women-owned businesses positioned for long-term growth.
During MWBC’s most-recent fiscal year, which ended Sept. 30, the nonprofit’s accomplishments included assisting with:
- 502 clients receiving business counseling.
- 58 business starts.
- 123 jobs created.
- 53 jobs retained.
- $1.9 million in sales growth.
- $874,370 in capital infusion.
