Mayor and Council to Discuss Budget Priorities

The Mayor and Council will hold their first discussion on the Fiscal Year 2020 budget this month, while continuing to seek community input.

The Mayor and Council will discuss their funding priorities during their meeting on Monday, Dec. 10. Additional information about the discussion will be available when the agenda is posted at www.rockvillemd.gov/AgendaCenter.

The discussion follows a Nov. 19 hearing that gave the public its first opportunity to be heard on the FY 2020 budget. Additional opportunities will include an online survey that allows community members to choose their budget priorities and offer suggestions, including ideas for increasing revenue, reducing or modifying current services, decreasing costs, and improving operational efficiencies.
