Meet a Rockville Employee: Tatum Walker

Tatum Walker

Tatum Walker, Rockville’s web and digital manager, has been on the job since June 5. In this edition of “Rockville Reports,” we’re introducing her to the community.

How would you broadly describe your job?
Improve the experience for everyone who connects with Rockville online, from the website, www.rockvillemd.gov, through email marketing or social media, and find new ways to connect.

Where were you before?
I was the associate director of digital strategy at Ford’s Theatre and managed the implementation of digital offerings, ranging from redesigning the website to engaging students in a way that extended beyond their visit.

What would you like to achieve as Rockville’s new web and digital manager?
Redesign our online presence and services to make it easier for our community to take part in, provide input on, and engage with, their local government. We want to connect with you, and we want to make that as easy as possible.

Anything else?
Yes! Shameless plug! Don’t forget to follow Rockville’s Instagram account – www.instagram.com/city_of_rockville.
