Most City Facilities Closed July Fourth

City Hall and the following city facilities will be closed Tuesday, July 4, for Independence Day: Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers; the Rockville Senior Center; Croydon Creek Nature Center; Glenview Mansion, including the mansion’s art gallery; and F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and its box office.

Theater tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre.

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will close at
6 p.m. Find summer hours for individual swim center facilities at www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter.

Recycling, yard waste and refuse will not be collected on July 4. After regular collection on Monday, July 3, collections will be made one day later through Friday. For more information, visit www.rockvillemd.gov/recycling-refuse or call 240-314-8568.

Parking at city-owned meters will be free.
