Most City Facilities Closed July Fourth

City Hall and the following city facilities will be closed Wednesday, July 4, for Independence Day: Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers; the Rockville Senior Center; Croydon Creek Nature Center; Glenview Mansion, including the mansion’s art gallery; and F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and its box office.

Theater tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre.

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will close at 6 p.m. Find summer hours for individual swim center facilities at www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter.

After regular recycling, yard waste and refuse collection on Monday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 3, there will be no collection on July 4. Collections will be made one day later through Friday. For more information, visit www.rockvillemd.gov/recycling-refuse or call 240-314-8568.

Parking at city-owned meters will be free.
