Need Help with Home Repairs? Reach Out to Rockville

April is Healthy Housing Month. Is your housing healthy?

Rockville’s Department of Housing and Community Development is seeking applicants for its single-family rehabilitation program. Eligible homeowners can receive up to $25,000 for home improvements.

Typical repairs include roof replacement, plumbing and electrical upgrades, furnace replacement, and kitchen and bathroom rehabilitation.

The City of Rockville gives priority to low-income homeowners, with applicants ranked according to the severity of repairs needed.

The work is done at no cost to the owner unless the home is sold, rented or transferred within five years of work completion.
