City Hall and city facilities will be closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Friday, Dec. 31 and Saturday, Jan. 1 and some facilities will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 17.
City Hall’s reopening has been delayed.
Friday, Dec. 31: City Hall and most city facilities will be closed, including the Rockville Senior Center; Croydon Creek Nature Center; Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers; Glenview Mansion; the Rockville Civic Center business office; and the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre box office, which is closed through Monday, Jan. 10. Theater tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre.
The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will be open with limited services and activities. Visit www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter for details. Recycling and trash are not collected on Fridays. Collections will occur as usual during this holiday week.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 17: City Hall and most city facilities will be closed. The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will be open for regular hours. All other city facilities will be closed. Recycling and trash collections will occur one day later than usual throughout the week.
