Explore rockets, robots, chemistry, reptiles and more at Rockville Science Day on Sunday, April 27.
This Rockville tradition, now in its 34th year, will be held from noon- 5 p.m. at Montgomery College, Rockville Campus, 51 Mannakee St. The free event offers individuals and families a chance to experience hands-on science and technology-related exhibits, activities, games and demonstrations from 100 local organizations and businesses.
Games, demos and exhibits include building and launching rockets, and exploring telescopes, robotics, backyard wildlife, ship models, microscopes, snakes, stream science, coding challenges, math puzzles, chemistry in action, electric vehicles, quadcopters, archaeology mini-digs, 3-D printing, brain games and much more.
Admission and parking are free. Food will be available for purchase. The event will be held rain or shine.
