The city is seeking vendors, especially of German-themed crafts, for Rockville’s second annual Rocktobierfest celebration, which is scheduled for 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 in Rockville Town Center.

The free festival is expected to draw 3,000 visitors and will include two stages of live music, German food, beverages from local breweries in souvenir mugs, kids’ activities and an artisan area.

Entertainment includes traditional German music by the Rockville German Band, Alte Kumpel Band and Alte Kameraden Band; polka by Polkadelphia; the rock and soul of Sweet Leda; and party rock cover tunes by Under the Covers.
Booths for breweries and vendors will be set up along Maryland Avenue, within walking distance of the Rockville Metro station.
