Rockville 10K/5K to Close Roads at King Farm

Residents and visitors can expect several street closures when runners in the 43rd Annual Rockville 10K/5K race through the King Farm neighborhood on Sunday morning, Nov. 4.

Streets that will be closed from about 8 a.m.-10:30 a.m. include:

  • Redland Boulevard, west of Grand Champion Drive.
  • Pleasant Drive, west of King Farm Boulevard.
  • Gaither Road.
  • Piccard Drive, between Redland Boulevard and West Gude Drive.
  • West Gude Drive, between Piccard Drive and Route 355 (Frederick Road).

Rockville City Police Department officers and volunteer course marshals will oversee the street closures as runners pass through the course. The King Farm Village Center area will be closed to traffic until about 11 a.m. due to post-race events.
