Rockville 10K/5K to Close Roads in King Farm

Residents and visitors can expect several street closures when the 42nd Annual Rockville 10K/5K races through the King Farm neighborhood on Sunday morning, Nov. 5. The King Farm Village Center area will be closed to traffic until approximately 11 a.m. due to post-race festivities.

Streets that will be closed from about 8 a.m.-10:30 a.m. on Nov. 5 include:

  • Redland Boulevard west of Grand Champion Drive.
  • Pleasant Drive, west of King Farm Boulevard.
  • Gaither Road.
  • Piccard Drive, between Redland Boulevard and West Gude Drive.
  • West Gude Drive, between Piccard Drive MD 355 (Frederick Road).

Officers of the Rockville City Police Department and volunteer course marshals will oversee the street closures as runners pass through the course.
