Rockville Business Forum Will Offer Resources and Advice to City Businesses

The COVID-19 pandemic has placed enormous stress on local businesses, and the City of Rockville has partnered with the Rockville Chamber of Commerce, Rockville Economic Development, Inc., and Montgomery County Economic Development Corp. to help.

Business operators will be able to discover resources and get advice, as well as ask questions and discuss solutions at the virtual Rockville Business Forum, 9-10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16.

Businesses will learn how the city can help with permitting requirements and other business needs, and about available financial resources. Businesses will also be able to ask questions of our panel of experts.

Rockville Business Forum agenda:

  • A welcome from Mayor Bridget Donnell Newton.
  • Rockville’s Director of Planning and Development Services Ricky Barker will discuss how the city can help with permitting and other business needs.
  • Cindy Rivarde, CEO of REDI, and Peter Toth, special projects manager for MCEDC, will discuss financial resources available to businesses.
  • President and CEO of the Rockville Chamber of Commerce Marji Graf will facilitate a Q&A to hear from businesses about their issues and needs.

While the meeting is tailored for businesses, everyone is welcome to join.

The forum will be held via Zoom. Access the meeting at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89834426637 or call in via phone at 301-715-8592 and use meeting ID 898 3442 6637.
