Rockville Holiday Drive Continues into Gift-Giving Season

Donations are being accepted for the 2024 Holiday Drive, Rockville’s annual push to help the community’s hundreds of children and families in need during the holiday and gift-giving season.

In what has become an annual tradition, businesses, individuals, civic groups, schools, foundations and the faith community, as well as individuals, contribute time and resources to make the holidays special for the less fortunate in the area.

Rockville’s community warmth and holiday spirit were on display during the 2023 Holiday Drive, with a total of 147 donors and a total cash amount of $34,722 raised to support families and people in need throughout November and December.

In November, 694 families (2,396 individuals within the households) were served. In December, 1,279 children from 492 families were helped.

How to get involved:

  • Send a contribution: Tax-deductible monetary contributions will be used to buy books and gift cards in  December. Donations can be made online at www.rockvillemd.gov/holidaydrive.
