‘Rockville Means Business’ Event to Highlight How Vendors Can Work with City Government 

Rockville’s Procurement Division will host an event in November offering vendors the opportunity to learn more about doing business with city government. 

Rockville Means Business

Registration is now open for “Rockville Means Business” on Thursday, Nov. 14 at Glenview Mansion at Rockville Civic Center Park, 603 Edmonston Drive. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. The event, from 9 a.m.-noon, will feature information sessions and exhibits by city departments, giving vendors the opportunity to interact with City of Rockville staff. A continental breakfast will be available. 

Sessions will include an overview of the city’s e-bidding system and vendor collaboration portal and strategies for doing business with the city. A moderated panel discussion will feature representatives of the city’s public works, recreation and parks, and information technology departments. 

Minority-, female-, disabled- or veteran-owned businesses are especially encouraged to attend.
