Rockville Pike Neighborhood Plan Zoning Text Amendment Moving Forward

Rockville’s Mayor and Council have authorized zoning text and map amendments to implement some of the policies of the Rockville Pike Neighborhood Plan adopted in August 2016.

The amendments include zoning changes for some properties in the Rockville Pike corridor south of Town Center.

The Planning Commission will review the draft amendments at their Sept. 13 meeting. A public hearing before the Mayor and Council is scheduled for Oct. 16, at City Hall. A staff report with the drafts will be available for public review at www.rockvillemd.gov/AgendaCenter the week before the hearing.
