Rockville Shows Reverence for Veterans’ Service

Community members joined veterans and members of the Mayor and Council for the city’s annual Veterans Day ceremony Nov. 11 at Veterans Park. The ceremony featured a wreath laying, a presentation of colors and rifle salute by American Legion Post 86, and a keynote address by retired Air Force Master Sgt. Dominic Russoli, pictured, third from left with (L to R) councilmembers Barry Jackson, Izola (Zola) Shaw, Mayor Monique Ashton, and councilmembers Adam Van Grack and Marissa Valeri.
