Rockville’s third annual Rocktobierfest celebration is set for 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 in Rockville Town Center.
The free festival is expected to draw 5,000 visitors and will include two stages of live music, food, beverages, souvenir mugs, kids activities, amusements and an artisan area.
Entertainment includes traditional German music by the Rockville German Band, polka by Mike Surratt and the Continentals and Polkadelphia, and rock by Lloyd Dobbler Effect, Vertigo Red, and The Red Elvises.
The festival is within walking distance of the Rockville Metro station. Paid parking is available in the Rockville Town Square garages.
Featured beverage vendors will include 7 Locks Brewing, Brawling Bear Brewing, Crooked Crab Brewing Company, Dawson’s Market, Gordon Biersch, True Respite Brewing Company, Twin Valley Distillers, Gilly’s Craft Beer & Fine Wine, Waredaca Brewing Company, World of Beer and Pour Vino n’ Hops.
