Save Money and Protect
Local Streams with RainScapes
Rewards

Single-family homeowners and nonprofits, including religious institutions, private schools and homeowners associations, can receive up to $3,500 in rebates through Rockville’s RainScapes Rewards program.

The program offers rebates for planting trees and conservation landscaping, installing rain barrels or removing pavement – actions that can reduce flooding, decrease pollution in local streams and attract birds and butterflies.

Applications are accepted and approved on a first-come, first-served basis. To be eligible for a rebate, the property must be located within the City of Rockville. Projects must be approved by the RainScapes coordinator before work can begin and must follow the design guidelines outlined in the application packet.
