The City of Rockville plans to mark Earth Month in April by giving away 300 trees to celebrate its 30th consecutive year receiving a Tree City USA designation from the National Arbor Day Foundation.
The “300 for the 30th” giveaway will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at the Rockville Senior Center, 1150 Carnation Drive. City of Rockville residents, including homeowners, homeowners’ associations and nonprofits will be able to choose up to two free trees, from among a selection of large shade trees and small flowering trees.
