A Rockville Holiday Classic and Holiday Tunes Provide Seasonal Entertainment This Month at the Rockville Civic Center

The Rockville Civic Ballet presents “The Nutcracker.” 7:30 p.m. Fridays, Dec. 3 and 10; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 4 and 11; 2 p.m. Sundays, Dec. 5 and 12. Tickets: $17; 60 and older and children 12 and younger, $13.

Join Clara on her magical journey. Directed by Eleanor Simpson and Erin Kwong.

“Home for the Holidays,” presented by the Rockville Concert Band. 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19.

Old classics and fun tunes for everyone to sing along and enjoy this special time of the year, directed by Juan Gallastegui. No tickets required, but a $5 donation is suggested. Learn more about the concert band at rockvilleconcertband.org.

“Backyard Concert,” presented by the Rockville Chorus. 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18.

The Rockville Chorus will perform a free outdoor “Backyard Concert,” directed by Linda Garrettson, on the patio adjacent to the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre Social Hall at Rockville Civic Center Park. Bring a chair and bundle up.

Chorus to Hold Auditions
The Rockville Chorus will hold auditions for bass, tenor and alto voice parts on the evening of Monday, Jan. 10 for the 2022 spring session.

The Rockville Chorus is an established performing arts group of adult volunteers who hold weekly rehearsals at 7:30 p.m. Monday evenings.
