Stay healthy and informed with free seminars from the Rockville Senior Center in September.

Relief From Back Pain
Join Dr. Carlos Martinez, from CAM Physical Therapy and Wellness Services, to learn ways to relieve your back pain and how a physical therapist can help. Register with course #23016. Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Fall Risk Screening
Receive fall prevention education from Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital staff and complete a questionnaire to assess your risk of falls. Receive exercises to do at home or be referred for outpatient physical therapy. Register with course #23014. Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Better Breather’s Club
Featuring educational presentations on a range of topics and tips to help you understand lung disease and treatment options. Register with course #23566. Thursday, Sept. 15.

Finding a Happy Balance
A Suburban Hospital physical therapist will share practical and useful changes to prevent falls at home and on the move. Register with course #23565. Thursday, Sept. 22.

Flu Shot Clinic
Given by Giant pharmacists. Attendees must bring Medicare/insurance cards or pay cash. Call 240-314-8800 to register and indicate preference for regular or high-dose vaccine. Register with course #23695. 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20.
