The Theater and Mansion Presents Seasonal Favorites

The Rockville Civic Ballet presents “The Nutcracker” 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2 and 9; 2 p.m. Dec. 3 and 10.

Rockville Art League Members’ Juried Winter Show

The Rockville Art League Members’ Juried Winter Show of varied media will be on exhibit Dec. 3-Jan. 12 at the Glenview Mansion Art Gallery. Meet the artists from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3.

The Winter Jubilee 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16.

Celebrate the Winter Jubilee at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and Social Hall.

Children and families can enjoy arts and crafts, face painting and games. Don’t miss balloon twisting, a juggling elf on a unicycle and classic characters, like Rudolph.

Tickets cost $6 for residents and $8 for nonresidents, 17 and younger. Register with course #29375 at www.rockvillemd.gov/registration. Mandatory chaperones 18 and older are free and do not need to register.

Rockville Concert Band presents “Snow Holidays: A Musical Journey Around the World” 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17.

Be transported through enchanting melodies and rhythms from diverse cultures, igniting the holiday spirit and filling the air with joy and harmony.

Rockville Chorus presents “Hallelujah for Holiday Classics” 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17.

Features selections from Handel’s “Messiah,” “Jingle Bells” by James Lord Pierpont Light, “One Candle” by Peter Yarrow S’Vivon, a traditional Hebrew song, “What Sweeter Music” by John Rutter, and “You’re a Mean One Mister Grinch” by Albert Hague and Dr. Seuss.
