Vote-by-Mail Election Concludes 8 p.m. Nov. 7

Last Minute Tips, Where to Find Results, and Inauguration Information

The deadline for Rockville voters to get their ballots in for the 2023 vote-by-mail election is 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Casting Ballots
Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Register and vote in person on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 7, at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave., or Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Drive. These vote centers will be open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. on Election Day only.

Drop off a completed ballot anytime, 24/7, before 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the election drop boxes in the upper parking lot of City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave., or Montrose Community Center, 451 Congressional Lane.

Voters are able to drop their ballots at boxes inside the Rockville Senior Center, 1150 Carnation Drive; Lincoln Park Community Center, 357 Frederick Ave.; Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, 12920 Twinbrook Parkway; and Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Drive. The boxes will be available during center hours.

Request a Replacement Ballot
Voters who have made an error, wish to change a selection or have lost their ballot can request a replacement.

Ballots can be brought to the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave., during regular business hours (8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday) to receive a replacement.

To replace a ballot on Election Day, bring it to vote centers at City Hall or Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Drive, from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. An election official will help spoil the ballot and issue a replacement.

Results
Unofficial results will be available as soon as all ballots have been counted after the election deadline of 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, in the following places:

Official results will be certified and announced on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

Inauguration Ceremony
An inauguration ceremony for the new Mayor and Council will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, 603 Edmonston Drive. The inauguration is open to the public.

The first meeting of the Mayor and Council will be 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20.
