The Rockville robotics team Wizards.exe – and their robot G-Wiz – brought their magic to the Mayor and Council chambers at City Hall on Oct. 8 as the team was honored for representing the United States at the FIRST Global Challenge Championship in Mexico last summer. Competing with teams from 185 countries, the team of Rockville students won the gold medal for engineering design and the silver medal First Global Challenge Award.
