Women’s History in Our City

Rockville celebrates Women’s History Month in March.

Rockville 11’s YouTube channel offers a look at how the city has celebrated Women’s History Month throughout the years, including profiles of women in leadership in City of Rockville government and tributes by the women of Rockville’s Mayor and Council to the women who have made positive impacts in their lives. Then, visit Glenview Mansion for a look back at two Rockville women whose inspirational lives defied social restrictions placed on women in the late 19th and early 20th century.
