Rockville Housing Enterprises, the City of Rockville’s public housing agency, has been awarded $157,870 in funding by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to protect city residents from potential radon exposure. The funding will support radon testing and mitigation demonstrations. Rockville is one of nine cities throughout the U.S. awarded funding through HUD’s new Radon Testing and Mitigation Demonstration Program Notice of Funding Opportunity for public housing agencies.
