Summer Excitement for Kids is Full Speed Ahead!

Meet new friends, play sports and games, create crafts, explore nature, art and science — Rockville’s summer is packed with things to do for kids!

A range of specialty camps cater to your kids’ interests, whether it’s sports, art, cooking, mad science, yoga, Lego, theater or music.

Offerings include Tiny Chefs cooking camps for ages 6-10, UK Elite Soccer, Deilab STEAM camps, Coach Doug Summer Camp Adventures, Abrakadoodle art, Hip Hop, Rockville Express Baseball, and many more!

Summer Blast, for kids aged 5-11, provides full-day care, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. June 18-Aug. 24. (June’s start date may be adjusted if Montgomery County Public Schools extends the school year). Spots are available at Ritchie Park Elementary School and Twinbrook Community Recreation Center. Register by the week or for the whole summer.

With Rockville’s Summer Playgrounds program for kids aged 6-12, weekly themes enhance the activities at nine neighborhood sites throughout Rockville. Playground Extras include field trips to Zava Zone and swimming, and the Soccer Aces program.

Playgrounds run from June 25-Aug. 2. Locations are: Fallsmead, Beall and Twinbrook elementary schools; Montrose Community Center and park; Elwood Smith Community Center; and Potomac Woods; Isreal, Fallsgrove and Woodley Gardens parks.
