The city’s Climate Solutions Speaker Series is back with an in-person guided tour of a native garden in Rockville.
Join the city from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 to tour a RainScapes garden and find inspiration for creating biodiversity in your own yard or patio.
Learn how native gardens provide habitat for birds and butterflies, collect and clean stormwater, and create climate-friendly green spaces for people. Learn about RainScapes gardens — and how to get rebates for planting one — at www.rockvillemd.gov/rainscapes.
The garden is on private property located in the West End neighborhood. The address will be emailed to registered attendees a week before the event.
Space is limited. Registration is required at bit.ly/rkvnativegardentour.
