Let Your Pooch Paddle in the Pool
Fidos and Fidesses can go in for a swim this month at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center’s recreation pool at 2017’s Doggie Dip Day!
For only $5 per pooch, your fur baby will be able to splash around at one of the city’s most-loved events. Humans can enter for free, but won’t be allowed in the water due to health and safety reasons. Proof of a current rabies vaccination (either a certificate of vaccination or veterinarian’s letter) is required for entry (for your dog, not you). Dogs without won’t be
allowed to enter.
This year, donations will be collected for Rockville’s Youth Recreation Fund and the Humane Society. Vendors of dog-related products will be at the event, selling merchandise and providing information.
Doggie Dip Day will be held rain or shine, noon-4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 9, at Rockville Swim and Fitness Center, 355 Martins Lane. For more information, or to find out how to be a vendor email swimcenter@rockvillemd.gov or call 240-314-8750.
