Major Changes Coming to Lincoln Park Community Center

Lincoln Park Community Center may be closed for now, but exciting things are coming when it reopens fully in spring 2026 after its renovation.

The renovation, which began in May, will include a full reconfiguration of indoor spaces, along with improvements to accessibility and infrastructure, and modernization of amenities. The project will take place in phases, with areas of the center being reopened to the public as work is completed.

New features at the center will include a STEM/STEAM lab, additional gathering spaces, an upstairs fitness/cardio area, and improved Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility throughout the facility.

During the closure, members can use their Lincoln Park Community Center fitness and center memberships at Thomas Farm Community Center (700 Fallsgrove Drive), Twinbrook Community Recreation Center
(12920 Twinbrook Parkway) and the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center (355 Martins Lane; access does not include pools).
