The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s first comprehensive redesign of the Metrobus system in 50 years means changes for Rockville’s bus routes.

The changes, which became effective June 29, eliminate Metrobus service to the Rockville Metro station, making the Twinbrook Metro station the northernmost Metrobus stop on Rockville Pike. RideOn buses will continue to provide service to the Rockville station.
Other changes to Metrobus routes include the M12, replacing the C2/C4, and the M82, taking over the T2 route.
Every Metrobus route regionwide is affected by the changes, with the goal of providing faster, more frequent and more reliable bus service that is easier to use. Learn more at betterbus.wmata.com.
