Permanent Courts Installed for Pickleball Play

More than 100 people attended as Rockville cut the ribbon on four brand-new pickleball courts at Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park at an opening ceremony in September.
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America, and to accommodate a burgeoning population of players in Rockville, the city installed the four lighted, dedicated pickleball courts in the park at 1800 Piccard Drive. The courts are the first dedicated to the sport in Montgomery County.
