Pump House Plaque, Commemorating Mayor Marcuccio, to Come Before Mayor and Council

The Rockville Recreation and Park Advisory Board has forwarded to the Mayor and Council its unanimous recommendation to dedicate a plaque at the Pump House commemorating former Mayor Phyllis Marcuccio, who died in June 2018.

The commemoration was requested by the East Rockville Civic Association.

The Mayor and Council has final decision-making authority on the memorial. They will discuss and may take action on the advisory board’s recommendation at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21 at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave.

Comments can be submitted in writing to [email protected] or City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave., Rockville, MD 20850.

Meetings are broadcast live on channel 11 on county cable systems, livestreamed at www.rockvillemd.gov/rockville11 and available a day after the meeting at www.rockvillemd.gov/videoondemand.
