Rockville Pike Neighborhood Plan Zoning Text Amendment on July 10 Agenda

The Mayor and Council are scheduled July 10 to consider a draft zoning text amendment related to the Rockville Pike Neighborhood Plan.

If approved, the proposed amendment would lead to changes to the city’s zoning ordinance. Those changes would reflect policies outlined in the Rockville Pike Neighborhood Plan, which was adopted in August 2016.

If approved by the Mayor and Council, the proposed amendment would be reviewed by the Planning Commission before returning to the Mayor and Council for a public hearing, likely in the fall. The draft text amendment will be available when the July 10 agenda is posted at www.rockvillemd.gov/AgendaCenter.
