For Close to 50 Years, Drive has Encouraged Heartfelt Giving For nearly a half century, through the Holiday Drive, Rockville has sponsored outreach that brings the community together each year to provide food baskets, gift certificates and toys to needy Rockville families throughout the Thanksgiving and December holidays.
Update; Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022: Bulk waste collection has resumed. Due to issues with the solid waste incinerator at the Montgomery County Resource Recovery Facility in Dickerson, the City of Rockville will not be collecting bulk refuse at this time. Household recycling and trash collections remain on their regular schedule.
